Australian holiday rental group, The Stayz Group, has announced the winners of its inaugural Holiday Rental Awards at the 2012 Stayz Holiday Rentals Summit in Sydney.

State and national winners were selected in each of five popular categories of holiday rentals: Best Family-Friendly Property, Best Romantic Property, Best Property for Indulgence, Best Property for Outdoor Lovers, and Best Pet-Friendly Property.
"We're delighted to announce the first winners of our Stayz Group Holiday Rental Awards and are thrilled to be able to recognise our property owners for the hard work and dedication they put into running their businesses. All of our winners have fantastic properties and we look forward to seeing them go from strength to strength," says Stayz GM, Anton Stanish.
Winners were judged on how they go above and beyond expectations to bring the category theme to life, and how they deliver exceptional holiday experiences for their guests, as well as the quality of their guest ratings and recommendations, property description and photographs. Over 750 individual properties from The Stayz Group nominated themselves across the five categories and after a tough judging process, the judges were finally able to select the exceptional winning properties.

The winning property owners will receive a significant boost to their business receiving publicity across The Stayz Group's consumer database of over 750,000 newsletter subscribers, exposure on the Stayz Facebook page which has over 31,000 fans and promotional click-through placements on the Stayz website, which currently attracts 1.27 million unique visitors per month. Owners will also be able to include award wins on their website listings and will receive an award trophy to commemorate their achievement.
